Blueberry Chia Seeds Jam


Use atop fresh breakfast pancakes and toast or on your favorite ice cream!


Blueberry Chia Seeds Jam


  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds/flax seeds


1. Combine blueberries lemon juice and honey, in a medium non-stick saucepan over medium heat and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat slightly and simmer about 5 minutes. Mash with a potato masher (you can also use fork) leaving some berries whole.
2. Stir in chia seeds and reduce heat to low. Let simmer about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, or until thickened--it will continue to thicken in the fridge.
3. Keep in a jar (or an airtight container) in the fridge; should keep at least a week or two.
4. This recipe is for one half pint jar (8oz), you can double or triple the recipe but remember it doesn't contain any chemicals so it won't stay fresh too long.
